Robin has performed extensively for the past 15 years, appearing on stage with musicians such as Dylan Lee, Goh Chia-Chien, Mayya Musaeva, Cha Seng Tiang, Cecilia Yap, Ang Mei Foong, Yeoh Ker Ker; and more recently in a sell-out concert with flutists Keiko Nakagawa, Noriko Osman, and Maastricht-based soprano Florence Chong.
He has also premiered new art songs by local composers Neo Hup Hiang, Wong Chee Wei and Wong Chee Yean; and has worked closely with Wong Chee Wei on several other projects, including a showcase concert in October 2023.
Robin co-founded Anjung Trio with violinist Mabel Wong and violist Andrew Filmer. The Trio has performed and given workshops on numerous occasions, in venues such as Bentley Music Academy, Sunway University, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and in the Johor Bahru Arts/Classical Music Festival. Their most recent concert with Singapore-based soprano Tan See Huey in May titled Schumann: Music, Legacy and A Life received much praise for its programming and presentation.
In July 2023, Robin joined Mabel Wong in a violin seminar under the ABRSM in the Klang Valley and Singapore.
When not working with colleagues, Robin is often engaged to coach and accompany students for exams and competitions. He is also on the panel of judges for the Euroasia Youth Music Festival.
Robin teaches students of all levels and ages at Bentley Music Academy and privately, and is known for his unique pedagogical approach, which focuses on the mechanics of piano playing and the development of musicality.
